Creating a visual Customer Journey

As designers, we often translate complex ideas into relatable experiences. I recently explored a way to use AI to craft a customer's journey using storytelling.

Here's a simple step-by-step guide:

1️⃣ Interviews: Start by understanding your target audience. During our product discovery, we ran one-on-one interviews and a recurring narrative emerged.

2️⃣ ChatGPT: I use ChatGPT to generate prompts and explore various artistic styles.

3️⃣ MidJourney: Set up a Discord server and used MidJourney to create a consistent reusable character for my story.

4️⃣ Storyboarding: Using the character, create a storyboard with ChatGPT, incorporating the character into different scenes.

5️⃣ Figma: Layout the images and add captions in Figma using the Comics in Figma community file.

6️⃣ Share the story with peers and leaders, allowing them to empathise with the customer's struggles and desired transformation.

This approach not only brought creativity to the design process but also made the complex customer journey easily accessible and engaging.
